Don’t Email large files just DropSend
If there's one thing that seems to cause problems on a regular basis it's trying to send large files as attachments in emails. Somewhere along the line they go missing in action and things start to get a bit fraught.
Well thank goodness the clever people at CarsonSystems have come up with DropSend a simple and elegant solution to sending large files over the internet. You can either use a web interface or download a little application for Mac OS X or Windows to send your files.
When you set it up you have four different plans to choose from. Yes there is a free option too which limits you to 250MB storage and 5 e-mail sends a month. Next is the $5 option with 1GB storage and 15 e-mail sends a month. For $9 you can store 10GB and send 45 emails. The fourth option costs $19 and has unlimited sends per month and 25GB storage.
The interface is clear and easy to use, it just concentrates on sending and storing files. You have an Inbox, Sent box and Storage folder which can contain nested folders. When you have sent a file to a client you can check if it has been picked up, you can even receive an e-mail confirmation.
